RULES & REGULATIONS

1.  Game Times will be 18 minutes.  Horn will sound every 2 minutes to designate shift changes.

2.  Penatlies will result in PENALTY SHOTS.  If a goal is scored, face off will be at center ice.  If a goal isn't scored, faceoff will be on the face off dot infront of the offensive goal.

3.  During Round Robin play, ties will be permitted.  During the playoffs, a tie game will be decided in a shootout.  One player can only shoot once unless the entire roster has already shot during a lengthy shootout.

4.  Playoff Seeding will be determined by total points (2pts - win, 1pt - tie, 0pt - lose).  Tie breaker will be;

     a.  Head to Head competition 

     b.  Most wins.

     c.  Lowest GA.

     d.  Highest GF.

     e.  Coin Flip

5.  Playoffs - The 5th Seed will play a 4 / 5 game.  The top 4 seeded teams will play to advance to the Championship Game.  The loser of the 2 vs. 3 seed game will automatically receive 3rd place. 

***The tournament will be organize under a very tight schedule.  Please have teams ready to start prior to the designated start time.  After each game, the clock will be set for 1 minute.  After the 1 minute, the next game will start.

Our registration is low as usual leading into the start of a season...  I will continue to update the website as the registartions come in.  We will start on Wednesday 1/6/16 but please encourage players to register to allow for less confussion on Wednesday.

Games and Rosters have been posted.   Games begin, Tues. Sept 7th at 7:00 p.m.

All goalies should report at 7:00 pm.

If you are not listed on a team - please show up at 7:00 pm ready to play and we will get you on a team.

We will have 4 teams competing in Irmo on Tuesday evenings.   Games will be either at 6:00 or 7:00 p.m.

Plex has a lot to be excited about this season… one,  overwhelming response to the Boys and Girls Varsity and JV leagues and secondly,  we are pleased to offer two locations for you to compete and/or play in this season.

Because of the high response to the Varsity League and many requests, we will be playing all JV games on Saturday and/or Sundays.

If you signed up as an individual, someone will be in contact with you by Nov. 21^st to let you know if we have enough to form a team or we have found teams looking for add’l players.

·         Bring Player Rosters and/or Waivers signed by parents for all players,

·         Bring 2 colored shirts or jersey’s (white and dark), cleats and water bottles

·         Finalize payments

Plex will not have games on the following dates.

Dec. 24^th, 25^th (Christmas)

Dec 30^th, Jan 1^st (New Years)

Otherwise Plex is open.   Please review your calendars and let us know NO LATER than Wed., November 18^th if your team has any requests for “Bye” days.     Once the full schedule has been posted – rescheduling will be very difficult due to the limited availability of space.

Suspensions resulting for an altercation during the Excel vs Carolina Wings game on February 15th are as follows;  Randy Johnson (Excel) - 1 game suspension for game misconduct (served February 22nd)

            Brad Hanson (Carolina Wings) - 1 game suspension for game misconduct (served February 22nd),      additional 2 game misconduct for match penatly (served March 1st and March 8th)

Carolina Wings vs Excel Refrigeration

1 game suspension as a result of a match penalty.  No additional games added to the suspension.  Steve must miss the January 25th game vs Monsters.

Milestone evening for the Wednesday 'B' League.  Dan Webb registered 0 penalty minutes.  Great start to a new season.  Especially after his performance during last seasons semi final game. 

Daniel Harper lead the way for Christian Legal Services with 2 goals and a assist.  Shut Out for Kristian Niemi.  Chaos must have one hell of a defensive group this session.

Lorne Rowland entered the league tonight and stop every shot he faced.  Ringer!!!  Good first weekend guys.

game points are as follows:

    -3 points for a win 

    -1 point each for a tie

incase of a tie, the tie breakers are as follows:

    -goal differential

    -least penalties 

Registration fee will be $260.00 this season with a $25.00 late fee if you register after May 14th.

The rosters are on each individual team site.  Please find your name and game time information.  We will make changes to the current rosters after the first games to help balance out the league.

The Plex Adult 'B' League will start playoffs next wednesday November 12th and finish the following week with a one game final.  The hockey has been great and I expect the same during the playoffs.

The Rosters have been posted and stats will be collected for each game.   Please make sure have your registration form, waiver and payment of $266 + ($25 yearly membership fee).

These can be filled-out and turned into the front desk staff at Plex.

Payment is due by October 3rd. 

Rosters will be frozen by the 3rd game and no additional players registered.
